Any word on the windshields that were to be released on May 15th?

I would really like to see what they look like.
One would think that there would be pictures available but that doesn't appear to be the case. I just spoke with my dealership and the boulevard screen I placed on order is in a future order release date status whereas before it was anticipated to be released on 5/15.
I just heard back from the dealership that the boulevard screens were released today and I might have one on Friday. I'll post pictures once it's installed (assuming it doesn't look hideous).

Did you ever get this windshield? I'd really like to see some pics if you have had the chance to get it installed.
Here is the first picture I have seen of the tall windscreen and some other accessories on a Japenese web site. It doesn't look as good as I had hoped, but maybe the angle can be adjusted so it flows better with the bike. However I am pleased with the size and it looks like it will give great wind protection without buffeting. I am surprised the luggage rack is chromed and I will likely powder coat it shiny black. http://japan.webike.net/ps/#!search&&p.m=6578&p.k=F6C
Looks horrible, good news a solo seat option is available to remove the grab rails.
maybe, just maybe an aftermarket parts maker will come out with something better.
F6C Windscreens

What's up guys? My parts guy sent me a couple pics and installation guide for this ghastly tall screen, which unfortunately I can't attach for some reason. At 505 mm (19 7/8" ?) Why so tall, clear and not tinted in a light smoke or something baffles me. Makes me wonder how they were even capable of designing the bike. I have high hopes for the boulevard screen, although at 155 mm (6 7/64" ?) it would certainly seem as useless as a dart screen of some kind. I may just buy the tall screen, have it trimmed down and have the inside surface lightly window tinted to make it not so garish looking. If anyone wants to see the pics or install instructions let me know and I'll be glad to email em to ya. Other than that I love this beast of a bike. I've had Yamaha, Harley's, and traded in my 11' Triumph Storm for this nasty bike. Her balance, handling and gobs of arm straightening power will make you grin from ear to ear. The tons of sheepish stares you'll get as you roll past all those clowns with the skulls and crap all over their ancient bikes is even better! :)

Got a call from the dealer today, they are installing the windshield.

This tall windscreen looks like it would be functional, but it certainly doesn't look that great. I find it hard to find tall windscreens that actually look good. It's a hard choice for me to choose between an ugly windscreen and having wind blow into my face more while I'm riding.

I'll take the windshield every time.
I installed the boulevard screen. It looks ok, not great. Just ok. Maybe with black tinted screen it would be better. I will be getting the tall screen.

I'll post some pictures this evening.

I had the dealer install the taller windshield which looks great and does the job!! I am not a helmet wearer and want to keep crap from hitting me and my Dark Cherry Valkyrie looks great with the windshield. All trim is black to match the handlebars. Would have been nice if there was a quick release feature like HD, and Indians have, but….I personally love the tall Honda windshield!
I'm in the process of having a shield made up by F4 Custom windshields. call Don Frank at 330-9684644 and see if we can work together at getting good looking shield.
I went with napper39 and got mine off ebay for $57 delivered. First time I mounted it I mounted the bars in reverse of what napper did to raise it a little so you could see the signals 100%. But at 75-80 miles an hour it would start to shift back and raise. I flipped the mounting bars over and it looks a lot better and sets at a better angle.
I did not care for the chrome looking parts that came with the windscreen (plus they seem cheap and a little big.... After testing the first time one of the bars came loose, slid down and put a scratch on my gas cap cover...).

So I picked these up for $13 bucks.

Better quality, better fit.
