You could paint them with peel off paint or black chrome paint.
I'm in Arizona, where even the shadows are blindingly bright.I thought mine would be blinding but I dont even notice it anymore.
I suspect you are probably right. Thanks.Youre better off having your parts repainted with pro paint that will hold up than repurchasing black hardware. On thing about Honda: Expensive parts.
Thank you kindly. Those prices aren't as bad as I was imagining, though they are still higher than I'm willing to pay. Maybe I'll do one piece at a time over a period of months or something. Here are the part numbers for all the black pieces:
COVER, CENTER TOP *NHB01* (GRAPHITE
64110-MJR-970ZA
$78.83
COVER, METER (LOWER) *NHB01*
37205-MJR-970ZA
$37.52
COVER, METER (UPPER) *NHB01*
37206-MJR-970ZA
$38.73
and the ones you wanted for the gas tank. You need both pieces:
LID, FUEL *NHB01* (GRAPHITE BLACK)
17622-MJR-970ZA
COVER, FR. TOP *NHB01* (GRAPHITE BLACK)
83510-MJR-970ZA
$84.36
By the way, painting the plastic chrome is almost impossible. I tried with the valve cover trim and it peeled right off with my nail.
