I was under the impression it was only the black Valkyrie that came with the ABS option. I purchased a 2014 blue one, 0 miles, and while installing the SoCal fog/DRL/turn signals (thanks Moof) I noticed the ABS logo on the front fender. I turned the key and the ABS light comes on. It would appear this bike has it. Just wondering if anyone else got the same surprise I did?

According to the honda's north american website, ABS is only available on the black model. During the "Build your Valkyrie" options, if you select ABS as an option, then your bike defaults to black and it won't let you pick another color.
I did once encounter a bug where I was able to select abs and then had choices of all 3 colors but I can't figure out how to duplicate it. I think you just got lucky.

I have the blue also and no abs logo or light.

I have a black ABS bike and I as well thought that ABS was only available on the black ones until I saw a review of the Valkyrie. It was a Canadian review and their bike was blue with ABS. Sure did surprise me. I know the European Valkyries have ABS because of the laws there in most countries and ABS was available in the red ones as well. Maybe they shipped them to North America when they should have gone to Europe.

Here is the review:

Nice side effect of getting an ABS bike is the self canceling turn signals.....gotta love those ! If only they had not reversed the horn & turn switch !
Yep, same here re the self-cancelling signals. But once you get used to the reversed horn/turn switch I think it's actually better in that the turn switch falls more naturally where your thumb is.

I keep hitting the horn trying to cancel the signal. While the ABS would be nice, I'm more interested in how the ABS is related to self cancelling turn signals and if it's possible to wire the non-ABS bikes to have the self canceling turn signals. Would love to have those so people won't think I'm turning for 30 miles ....
