Valkyrie solo seat

The stock seat is easily converted into a solo seat. Literally pop it off and remove 2 bolts.

Hopefully Honda will produce a solo seat kit that has some rear fender panels without any holes. I've seen them available for some of the other bikes Honda produces.

am i the only one who cant see the photos you are posting? :(
I can see the photo. I think that the F6C looks good without the back seat. i think most people just ride by themselves usually so there should be plenty of people who would opt for this. Are there some holes in the rear fender or something where the rear seat used to be attached? Is there a way to get rid of those?
Solo looks so much more better, rather have it that way

There are 2 small holes where the rear seat bolts too which are no big deal. I'm using 2 black hex screws to cover those up. The larger issues is where the grab rails attach. If you look at a parts diagram of the rear fender you will see 2 plastic pieces that bolt in and cover the area where the grab rails attach. The stock pieces have 2 giant holes to obviously mount the grab rails. If you look on some of the other Honda bikes with similar styling like the CTX700 they have 2 sets of plastic pieces available. One for a set of grab rails, and the other matches the curves of the fender with no mounting holes.

My hope is that Honda will release a set for our bikes. If they don't I will probably purchase a set, fill those holes with some body filler and spray it with some color matched paint.
I'd like to see a solo seat with a back rest, or even a convertible seat like the showed us on their new NM4.

but yea I could see the valk getting "bobbed" solo seat, chop the rear fender...

I don't know how well that would work out. The rear tire is only a 180 and the rear fender is extremely wide.
nah

dont get the whole seat rest thing.

solo seat with back rest should look good.
I t sounds like a pretty easy fix. I would do it as long as I know I am never going to have a passenger because it would be a pain to reverse the process.

Can you order the color matched paint from Honda?
they should have it, just have to tell them what the color code is, if not just tell them what bike and color it is.
Rear Fender Lid Available

There is a rear fender lid kit available from Honda in black, blue or red for $99 MSRP. I had it installed and the passenger seat, grab rails and pegs removed.

14 Valkyrie - removed back seat/rails

I've now got a custom seat from Rich's in Washington state. Removed the back seat and hand rails. I now have 4 large holes (where the rails attached), and the two small screw holes.

I'm not seeing any kits just yet.

If someone creative finds a solution, let me know.

Here;s that picture posted again in case other people were also having trouble seeing it properly.

any pictures of that custom seat?

I'll get a picture this weekend. I'm slammed.

I'm big (6'3" 300lb) so it is a nice sized seat now. :)

Thanks! I couldn't find it. Nice to see this and the part #. Now I just need to find a local dealer to get it from (or a reliable online).

Where do you recommend ordering?

Thanks,
Steve
