At low speeds when I turn the bars, I hear a squeaking noise like rubber rubbing on rubber or plastic on plastic. I looked in the manual but I don't see a rubber bushing showing up that may be worn. Does the same when sitting still and I wiggle the bars any at all. Yes it has close to 20K miles on the clock. Bike feels tight and I have no issues other than the noise.

Ideas???????????

Well I found the problem. The throttle cables are rubbing where they go in behind the headlight causing the noise.

Mine does it as well. A quick shot of some silicone spray on the cables, wipe off excess will stop the squeak.

Yep, mine squeaks as well. I figured it was just the rubber lines. I will oil it. In the meantime, I'll just keep packing the miles on while avoiding the ever invasive Neutral gear! First gear shouldn't even be on this bike.

I very seldom use 1st gear anymore. I just hope I don't have that 2nd gear issue like my M109 had...I hope.

If you have a windscreen make sure it’s mounted within 2mm of the lower wire clamp on the bars...that will alleviate the creaky noise from the wires\cables
