A guy approaches me in the street.

"That's a V8, right?" he says.

"No" I said, "it's a six".

"Oh" he says with a dismissive wave and walks off.

Sheesh.

Gp, you should have told him it was a V12 with a turbo. he would have been impressed. for some folks who just don't know their motors let alone cycles, any big motor is a car motor and all they know is v8.
Or you could have just slapped your forehead and exclaimed, "I could have had a V8?" that's a commercial for vegetable juice here in the states. poncho

Hoss Cartwright after he took over the ponderosa. He became boss hoss.
