This is plain crazy.
If you want to run a solo seat, you need to remove the passenger seat ASAP!
The passenger seat has 4 rubber discs that it sits on. They leave marks on the rear fender and cannot be buffed out. At least I couldn't buff them out. I didn't want to destroy the paint!
The passenger seat also scratches the very rear part where it bolts to the fender. These scratches are really bad looking. Honda should have applied a protective film over this area to prevent the scratches.
Perhaps these scratches and rubber marks can be buffed out by a professional bodywork person. I think this is something that a customer should not have to ever deal with, but maybe my expectations are too high?
Good luck!
