Thw fuel door is known to stick. I have a real time TPS and i put thw mount on the fuel door to act as a handle. Amazon has any number of stick on nubs or waya to grab the fuel door without altering it beyond bassically a sticker.
The problem stems from the cable release of thw fuel door and thw spring. You can adjuat and get it to work better but it will go back after a while. Maybe some are defective.
Best bet? Get 3M double sided sticky tape and get a cool 3D emblem or say a plastic same color small piece of plastic that can be out on as a grip.
