someone let me know if you can see both sets of pictures. I posted them two different ways. I can see all four but want to make sure you can also.

I have the grab rails removed but it looks like the Tunnel Bag would mount just fine with the grab rails on also.

I see the pics. what was the model number on the tunnel bag from Saddlemen? Was it difficult to mount to the passenger seat? It seems that the grab rails would be a easy hookup for the bag.... do you like the way it is made and is it secure enough to walk away from if away from the bike for awhile. I am considering this bag too but looking at the larger version. Is yours the larger one. At this point i strap a backpack on myself but more storage would be great for a longer ride on a overnight-er. My bike is black also #1733 production number and just 300 miles on it.....kick ass machine! Also pic of my last large cruiser a Vulcan 2000 classic.

you will need the Wide version, TS1620S Tunnel/Tail Bag, for 12" wide seats.

It is well made and easy to install. Remove the rear seat and strap a pad to in and re-install the seat. Then the bag goes on the seat and the pad has straps that connect to the bag. I would not consider it Secured if you were worried about leaving it where it could get stolen. To remove it you just release three straps and take it with you. It does come with extra straps so you can use it as a back pack and carry it with you and it has a nice carry handle. There are lots of pockets and zippered compartments. But not a huge amount of storage volume. The design is functional and still sporting looking. Good value in my opinion.

I got one too!

Thanks, SuperJim, for this post, it is what led me to buy one too and I'm glad I did!
I spent a looong time poking around trying to find something that fit, was big enough, and sort of matched the look of the bike - this one checked all three boxes for me.

I originally mounted it with the passenger seat and hand rails still on (easier to mount by running the included straps through the hand rails). Eventually I removed the seat and rails, clipping the D rings underneath the bag to bolts I ran through the fender holes (where the handrails would normally mount).

Still looking for an improvement on the mounting though - haven't been crazy about how I did it (doesn't snug down like I would like it to).

I was able to keep my lunch container and my laptop in this bag. I use a soft lunch cooler that is 10" L x 5" H x 6" W.
While out riding on weekends I was able to keep my half helmet or my riding jacket in the bag, but not both. I found it held plenty for daily commuting and 300 mile weekend day trips.
It is a great bag but a little shallow in the center. It is very easy to strap things onto the bag if you need additional storage capacity.
I found it adequate in place of saddlebags but I never needed room for a passenger.

This looks interesting ,for those that have installed this is "any" rider back support? I'm not expecting a lot just maybe a little.... but this with an airhawk 2 could be the solution to a lot of my issues. I really don't want to end up turning this into a Goldwing, but...

It was too far back for me to use as a backrest, but I usually placed my feet on the passenger pegs and leaned slightly forward. If I kept the Valk I probably would have added a RDL w/ riders backrest. I really like having a rider backrest on my F6B.
