Just a heads up on something I found today. My Valkyrie has had 1 wash and never been caught in the rain. Today I went to change the mirrors and noticed the mirror stems under the locking bolts all had rust on them. I recommend if you are going to keep the stock mirrors to apply a small amount of grease to the upper threads of this piece. This should keep moisture from running down and being trapped in the threads.

It is there, for some reason the thumbnail is about one pixel big though. Not sure what the problem is with that but if you get the finger pointer over it you can still see the picture.

The rust doesn't look bad, but thats not something that you expect to see on a brand new bike. Might be a good idea to give it some type of coating, or the grease that you were saying just in case. It starts off small but can be a bigger problem later.
