I had not seen this before, although I don't know that it's new. Found it interesting as to how the Valkyrie ended up as the final translation of the idea, after their experience with making the Rune. If you've never seen a Rune up close in-person it's hard to appreciate what a statement it made at the time.

I wanted one sooo bad back in the day... the cost was really prohibitive but still doable... I just had no idea they were going to only produce them basically one year.... the thing that makes me weep the most on my Valk is Honda running that stupid exhaust right through the back wheel when they could had done it like the Rune

Honda only make about 4000 Runes they sold for $25,000 to $28,000 (more chrome). After a few years Honda had some leftover's and sold them for something like $14,000 if I remember right I heard about the deal too late or I would have one.

They ended up putting the Rune on EBay and it sold this week for $15,100
