just have them total it. get a new one.
it is not the minimal dollars it takes to write off a inexpensive motorcycle, it is the deep liability for personal injuries and restricting pain that are sure to follow from this trauma.. the bike might fetch $10k for replacement cost on a model that is no longer available. Liability is probably $150-300k.. I would let them know that you can no longer pick up that bike due to pain and trauma.I doubt your insurance company will write it off with so little damage. I could be wrong.
So many injuries happen this way. The ultimate insult is that we injure ourselves and the bike still goes down (and gets damaged) anyway :|...when I got up this morning I found that my hand and wrist hurting, must of strain it when I grabbed on tight to keep bike from falling over.
And don't forget to find a good lawyer to keep you out of jail when you get prosecuted for insurance fraud.... other than that do not even talk about the bike other than you can no longer ride it because of all the pain and trauma you experienced.
Only a kangaroo court would consider that insurance fraud punishable with jail time. And don't forget to find a good lawyer to keep you out of jail when you get prosecuted for insurance fraud.
lawyers are like congressmen, a dime a dozen and as useless as .. well, congress. on a good day they amount to being just a hit man, the only reason you need one is because somebody else has one.And don't forget to find a good lawyer to keep you out of jail when you get prosecuted for insurance fraud.
