Road noise or?

I'm getting an unusual amount of road noise or possibly a wheel bearing sound coming from under the front gas tank, is this normal on a new val?

sorry I can’t help. I assume you have to be moving to hear it so that eliminates the alt whine. Have Honda take a look if it bothers you.
Just checking to see if they all made a noise. I had a PC800 that made a growl when I turned. Caused by new Dunlop tires. Went away after a few hundred miles.
I get noise in the front but I'm certain it is just road noise from the tires. Doesn't sound like a wheel bearing noise, probably best bet is to get it checked.
BobMoe,
I have a brand new 2014 Valkyrie with less than 500 miles on it and have something, perhaps similar, going on with mine. Even when sitting still it sounds like a frog ribbeting down under the gas tank, sort of in a cyclical manner. It can be heard while riding as well. I think I have narrowed it down to a clutch/transmission sound, but don't know anything for sure yet. It seems to change tone when I pull in and out the clutch. It is a pretty irritating sound that I am pretty sure is not supposed to be there, but I've never been around another Valkyrie to know the difference. Does this sound like the same issue you are having? Do you all think I should post this issue on another topic/thread to get some more feedback? I have thought I would change the oil to synthetic at 500 miles, and if that doesn't change anything I will take it back to the dealer. Thanks for any help.

Mine was noisy at first but, all sounds normal after 1000 miles.
I still have the factory oil in it.
I use full synthetic oil in my F6B and it's very quiet.
My noise is only while rolling. Same coasting and at idle. Brake on or off.

Try changing the pads despite the amount left. Could just be the old pads.
