Hey happy to be part of this great community. I have already learned so much. Thx for awesome tip to zip tie the grommets as it saved me just as I was losing one. Also tips on oil and oil change - peice of cake.
Currently on first overnight ride (bought 2014 Valkyrie past May 2017 new from dealer for 60% of MSRP - absolutely stole the bike?- don't worry changed all fluids after 700 km except brake and clutch fluids but will change before put bike away) form London Ontario Canada to Grand Bend up Highway 21 to Collingwood for first night's rest. Tomorrow out to run the back roads to Perry Sound via water views. Spend the night at friends house then back to London on Sunday. Quite the trip with only a tank bag and backpack. Must buy more gear. ?

Not quite as good a deal as you but good deal none the less - paid $14,999 for my new non current 2015 this past February. No over nights this summer with all the rain we had but I have managed to roll up 10,000 kms. Went to college in London, great town.

Awesome deal. Yours is a year newer than mine so well done. Have you started to buy any accessories and if so where and how much?
I added on a Honda tall windshield and while it was expensive it's been absolutely amazing. Also added on Oxford heated grips and they have already saved me a couple of times. I had to go to the one inch bar Cruiser model which I picked up from a local supplier for $169. I didn't have time to install them so I took them to my local dealer who charged me 1.7 hours at $100 an hour to install them. I nearly passed out. Then, while on the road, the glue failed. I took them back to to the dealer to be reglued, and yes, failed again. My buddy had the same problem with his grips and with the same dealer so he went out and bought his own grip glue. Put it on himself and no problems. He then gave me the remainder and now I've had no problems. Now all is fine. Also at the time I bought the bike I added a 12 volt power adapter and asked them to install it. When I picked up the bike found out they'd installed it inside the locked storage compartment under the side panel. Not really accessible. I bought an eclipse 12 volt power supply with USB power supply for mounting and the handlebars and it's been fantastic. I wired it directly to the battery so that I can charge my cell phone even when the vehicle wasn't running. I bought an X grip told the cell phone from RAM and it is truly amazing worth every penny $90 bucks. Lastly I bought a Sena10 communicator to put in my helmet and it has absolutely changed motorcycling for me. With it on I can use the voice activated software to pick up calls, make calls, listen to music and get turn-by-turn directions all while I'm riding - absolutely amazing. Still looking to put rear luggage on. I picked up a couple of used leather saddlebags but I don't know what saddle bag holder will work with them because they don't have attachments they just have leather ties. Thoughts anyone??? Last thing you may find of interest - I change my own oil and drive shaft fluid after 1000km. Easy to do don't get the dealer to do it. It can be easily changed even on our side kickstand. I recommend you put a new 14mm crush washer on with the drain plug, although I generally found I can get two uses out of each crush washer. I also changed out the rad fluid. Apparently after 3 years of sitting there it's a really smart move to do (especially with aluminum radiators). When I put the bike away this winter I'm going to change out the brake fluid and the clutch fluid as it has been recommended to me. I wanted to put a Honda rear luggage rack and backrest on but the price was prohibitive. If anyone knows someone else who offers a product that fits a 2014 Valkyrie please let me know. Thx
