Replace plastic parts with Aluminum

Has anyone contacted a foundry about replacing the headlight cover, fuel tank cover, meter cover and taillight assembly with cast aluminum? IMO polished aluminum would add so much to the looks of this bike.

I probably couldn't imagine how much that would cost but as far as I know nobody has done this.
I took off all my chrome parts, and put on black ones. Didn't like the chrome look.
This may happen if the Valk ever catches on and sales go wild, but I doubt that will happen, most likely there won't be a 2016 in the USA or Canada. Glad I have mine though.

I suspect you are right. I don't see many of the around my haunts. I think I have seen 3 in the wild in 10 months. Not unhappy about that to be honest. At one stage I wanted Diavel but decided against it... dime a dozen here now.

The "problem" with them I think is summed up by one silly woman that said to me when I was looking at mine... "It's a bit too Buck Rogers for me" and add to that it doesn't shake and carry on while making a lot of noise.

Sold!

Some people have no idea of what it is like to step out of the mold and thus have no idea of what they are missing. I love this bike :)

Apple and HD are unbeatable in the way they shape buying and loyalty mindset. It can't be the products - we all know that - yet their customers defend them to the death. Smart corporations, that's for sure.
