I've had a hydraulic lift, they work great if there's more working space than I have, esp. on flat-bottomed bikes. What would work best for my situation is something stable that holds the bike vertical and doesn't take up much working space. Single-sided swingarm lifts will work on these things, right?

I have no idea mate, never seen one even mentioned for the Valks. As for taking up much space I only use the ATV lift to get the bike into the air. Then I put car stands under it and remove the lift. Rock stable, in fact I can climb on it no problem.

If you mean you have nowhere to put the thing in the first place then I got nothing for you. If you do find a single side lift please post it up as I would be interesting to see it.

FYI the bottom on these things isn't flat. I had to do this to get it up for the stands to go under.

Now I have a cover on the bottom I don't need to do that anymore tho I do use a board to spread the load.

Anyway good luck mate.
