Who uses what for their windshields? I saw rain-x for plastics, but is there something better?

I haven't used Rain-X on motorcycles I use Honda spray wax.
When it rains would all rain fly off the windshield and into your face?
It does works great on cars.

I just received my Rain X for plastic, 8 hours too late. Riding home on the expressway with no street lights, I wasn't able to see the road in front of me. Luckily, none of the giant potholes caused an accident or damaged a rim. I'll let you know how it works once I try it.
