If it would help , we can all post a "You've Got Mail" notice in the general directory here to remind you to Look in your mail box.. if it helps? but it kind of defeats the whole purpose of "private message".

Whenever I sign in, I get a notice in the (nearly) top line that says I have 1 (or whatever) Unread message. Mine looks like this (it had had one new msg when I signed on, I looked at it and then went to the forum posts):

Welcome, KUGO. Visited Today 02:27 AM Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 1. Subscriptions

Yep, finally found that - thankyou. It would be nice if it were much more in your face so you see it immediately....you know, a big red button that says "MESSAGES!" I might just notice that
