Due to the large radiators, tank, fork, and other parts, I find the wind blast to be pretty low. That said, I do not go real fast and I wear a full-face helmet. With the heat I get here most of the time a breeze is nice.

I have seen a picture of the tall windscreen and it looked ridiculous. I would be very interested in seeing how the boulevard screen looks.

I'm not totally constrained by fashion but I have to draw the line somewhere!
Je trouve que ce qui fait la classe et la beaute de cette moto, c'est quelle soit naked, sans pare brise ni sacoche
great find @Chadleys1! the bags are the only accessories that really seem to fit he Valk, everything else just seems borrowed...

ridiculous indeed!

Short Windshield, works surprisingly well, keeps the wind buffeting of your chest. I'm 5' 8"

That looks pretty reasonable and even a little sporty!

How is it held on? Do you have a side and back picture?

Thanks!

PS - Ever notice that from a straight-on side view the headlight curves into the chrome tank hump? Very cool looking IMO.

not bad, thanks

That is about all I'd want, I think, for a windshield.
Thanks for posting pic.
I test-rode one last weekend (without windshield), and I too found the windblast to be less than expected.

My biggest surprise on the testride was that the engine heat didn't bother me. 20 minutes riding with temps in the 90's, and it never was an issue.

thanks for the informative posts, and responses, all...

Thanks, but credit for photo goes to Xyzzy, it was from a link he posted in another forum.

you know that short screen might look a stunner if painted all black. I mean its not like its actualyl being looked through ;):D
Thank you for the pictures. I did not realize that the windshield attached to the handlebars. I assume there are no clearance issues with the rest of the bike?

Did you install it yourself?

Thanks!
I think that there are cheaper saddle bags that you can get instead of the ones that are made by Honda. When I looked into the Honda saddle bags I thought that the price was a little crazy.

Yes! Easy install and no clearance problems.
Thank you MAXdrive for photos, me am not a fan for windscreen but that her(it) is really nice
contrary position: i have the tall windshield and it's great! i look thru automobile windshields and have no problem doing same on my valk.
I wonder how long it will take for the aftermarket to offer a tinted boulevard screen?

@MaxDrive

Do you think that the reverse side of the screen could be tinted easily? (Does it come totally free from the mounts?

Also, if you have some pictures from further away I think we would all appreciate seeing how your screen looks from a distance.
windshield and bags pics

I have both windshield and bags on my Dark Red Valkyrie.

I got them as a "package" deal from my Honda dealer if I would made the purchase on the day I was there.

If you want pics IM me and I'll post them to you.

CruisinRev
I also think that is a good idea ,messy bessie.

I bought translucent red and charcoal translucent paint (special paint for polycarbonate) to spray inside my boulevard screen. I was hoping to end up with a really dark red almost black, to match the Honda logo on the radiator shrouds.

I'll post a pic if it comes out OK. If not, I'll end up redoing it black.
I just got some dark black, car window film, gonna put that on the boulevard screen.
Will see how it turns out....
