Other exhaust options for the Honda F6C

I think one of the parts that I like least about the F6C is the exhaust pipe. It just looks long, straight and boring to me. I think I'd prefer something shorter or at least something with some more shape to it. I'll be looking around at options but if you guys have suggestions than please let me know.

Im just going to wait for something from a premium exhaust maker like Akrapovic.
I like these cobra 6 into 6 tips for the F6B, likely to be an option for F6C...

"A little bit louder..." ???

Jesus, i bet if he took it for a run around his neihborhood, all **** would break loose. From the neighbors that is.

Maybe some years back I would appeciate having an exhaust like this but my hearing is already bad enough. Plus I like to go on rides early every sunday morning. I would hate to wake up my neighbors before church. :D

I do not find beautiful the escapes of f6c, and I find nothing on the clear(net) to replace them. Why Cobra or another marquene makes no model for our motorcycle?

My guess is the Valkyrie is a very low production run. My VIN is the highest VIN I have seen or heard about and it is under 1,000.

The predominant thought of any aftermarket manufacturer is making money, and creating a set of pipes for a very-limited-production bike (that already sounds really nice) looks like a good way to lose money.

I had a set of $900 V&H pipes on my first GL1800 Wing. They sounded cool, but they were not nearly worth the $900 I spent. The Valkyrie sounds infinitely better stock.

For me, In decibels from France are limited to 80 dB ( A ) maybe that to you it is higher?
My f6c has a very felted noise one hear very weakly the pots échappements
I agree the exhaust is to long and give the new valk a much longer look of the overall bike.

The exhaust does have a nice sound without being loud and obnoxious.

I would want a Single Seat, and a shorter exhaust, a short Rear fender, that exposes the Car Tire i would put on the rear.

I would also put on some different LED Tail Lights.
Westgl, I think you should go have a sit-down at the Honda dealer and sign some papers.

The more experienced Goldwing owners around here, the better !

Cobra says no, bruh.

This is a copy of the response I received from Cobra Exhaust, regarding the possibility of them selling their popular exhaust system, like the one they sell for the F6B, for the 2014 Goldwing Valkyrie F6C... Maybe more owners should email them to see if they'd change their mind ?

Hello,

from what I have been told, sorry to say, we will not be coming out with an exhaust of slip-on mufflers for the new Valkyrie, but I will pass your email down, to the owner and engineering group, just to let them see customers are interested in something for this model.

thank you and have a great day.

Hello, you found a new exaust for f6c ? Please contact me. Thanks
Unable to post photo. Only my second post. How many more do I need? Wanted to show my

IXIL brand pipes. I Cut the mounting brackets and painted black. Sounds really good for a short set of pipes.

If you want to email me some pics at [email protected] I will post them for you. I think you have to have 15 posts to put something up.
I kept the stock pipes on my 15 model F6C, but made a big improvement to the sound as well as the power by using a long drill bit and drilling holes in the internal baffles. There are three pipes inside that big pipe, and drilling holes those baffles don't cost anything other than the long drill bit. I stayed fairly small on the bit, 1/4 inch and drilled holes all around the small pipes. This way I still have the cat on there in case they ever do emissions tests where I live. But when you get on it, it sounds like an Indy car.

I went through this dilemma. Due to how crappy these bikes did in sales no one ever made an exhaust.. Except Torqmaster. So I bought that. I actually quite like it. Looks clean but not stock and the sound is good. Made the bike sound like an old Porsche. Doing the torq loops in the spring which will add some nicer tone.
I highly recommend.
