Be sure to replace all the vacuum lines if there still the originals! A very common leakage problem.Hello,
I just bought my first 98 Valkyrie. I would appreciate any general information on this bike while I explore this forum in the meantime. The bike has been sitting about a year, but starts right up, although the carbs leak so carb rebuilds are first on the list. Anything else I should know? Hot tips?
Thanks in advance and looking forward to participating in the forum.
Watch out for hydrolock! This is especially a problem with a bike that's been sitting and you really don't want to start that bike up again until you know the petcock hasn't failed. You can find more info on the forums or the fb groups at VRCC or Honda Valkyrie. Wood Butcher experienced this recently and can tell ya exactly how to fix it.Hello,
