How long did the bike sit? Most likely clogged or overfueling injectors, especially if it sat for a long time. Simpler solutions: Clogged air filters and spark plugs. I would change both groups, first.

 

Further, is it in gear, or does this apply to Neutral as well? If not in Neutral, fuel system. If in neutral, more likely plugs. Less fuel demand in neutral, at rest.

 

Thanks, dyou36! I’ll be changing the plugs and filter on Wednesday and will report back.
I haven’t tried in neutral yet, but did notice that under lighter load it’s happening but less noticeable.
As far as I know it didn’t sit. The gentleman from whom I bought it loved the bike and took it out often for short rides in his town.

Probably not at all. First time I did it, I loosened the wrong screws, and oil came pouring out of the, I suppose, cylinder head. It's right there, and probably a similar thing happened.

 

Hi had the same problem when i bought mine had a miss 19000km 9years old replaced plugs all good.Plug also a bit oily when removed all good with new plugs now it has 36000km haven't looked back.

This one has 9900mi, definitely needed the plugs. I hope it’s the same with mine!
