Good morning,
I saw a '14 Valkyrie yesterday and I'm really intrigued.
I've rented a few bikes in the last 3 months trying to get a good feel for what I want to buy in the spring. So far the bike I've enjoyed the most has been the F6B.
I saw an ad for the Valkyrie from a local dealer and had to check it out. There's a lot to like about it but I do have a couple of concerns; the biggest being able to fit good size saddlebags on it. When I say good size I mean about 35 litres per side. The Hepco and Becker Buffalo bags are the ones I've got my eyes on if I can find a way to mount them. I like to do long rides/tour and have yet to figure out how to pack light.
The second concern being wind/weather management. The lower body looks to be well protected but on long multi day rides I want to keep more wind off my chest.
Before any suggests the other 'Wings, I also like the lighter weight of the Valkyrie for around town work...
I'll have a good look around and see what I can find out from you good folks.
