Hi All, Peter from Newcastle, Australia here.
A few days ago I bought my new-to-me 2014 black Valkyrie from a dealer. It came with Honda bags, pillion back rest, Boulevard screen, Oxford heated grips and LEDs in the lower fairings. 13000km on the clock. Maybe it belonged to a member here??
I have no great plans to modify it much, but have already installed a couple of spotlights on the handlebars (currently wired up in a very basic way while I get to know the Valkyrie electrics) to help light up the road when I'm out of the city. I mainly ride out of the city with most of my saddle time spent on Iron Butt Association rides all over Oz. I have a Yamaha Super Tenere, and Yamaha FJR1300 for those sorts of rides, plus a Yamaha TMax 530 scooter for riding to work.
In a few days I'll be taking my Valkyrie on a 1000km 'dayride' with my 10 year old nephew as pillion. That rear seat looks like he'll be comfy for the ride.
In the meantime I'll just lurk arond and see what I can learn from you other members.
