New hiway pegs

I have had kury longhorns on since I bought the bike. I always thought they were good. Lately I have been imagining what if.... I bought the kury ergo III OFF EBay last week. They had a 20% off coupon last week site wide. I paid 250 for a new black set. I can’t be happier with them. They bring the pegs at least 2” closer and up as much as I want. They have changed my opinion of what a good fit is. I can’t take it out because I have the front apart waiting on my driving light replacement. But the bike feels like it was made for me. 2” risers, Corbin made to move me 1” forward and now pegs that catch my feet where they fall. Looking forward to getting it back out on the road next weekend. If anyone wonders if they are any better a than longhorns the answer is yes. They adjust to places the longhorns can’t.

Are the engine guards 1' or 1 1/4' (1.25")? I am looking at the same pegs and want to make sure I order the right size.
I’m not 100% sure but think 1”. I bought them based on the “fit the goldwing” statement.
Rats. I bought a pair based on the same thing and they sent a 1 1/4" set. I guess I'll find out when I put them on.

Glad to hear you like yours though. I just hope I don't have to send mine back. Do you have a pic of how yours turned out after you installed them?
I wouldn’t worry. Maybe they are the correct size. I’m not home till Saturday. By then you’ll probably know but I will post a picture when I get back
Little bit off topic, but what did you use for risers? And was there any extra modifications needed? IE wiring, longer cables, etc.

The thread is called “ risers NOT “. Sorry I can’t add the link. It’s a bit of a read but should answer all questions that you have.

Man they look great and I did look at them at one stage but I think they would cause me some problems. I scrape the Rivco Aeropegs but they fold, the mount for those won't, the pegs will but not that mount I don't think. If anyone has any information to the contrary that would be great but 1st hand knowledge please. Real high price of failure on that one ;)
I have them as well. I got chrome ones off eBay really cheap ($149) and then I black chromed them. They came out nice. It is made by Duplicolor called Shadow Chrome. Easy to do and pretty tough. Only thing I have ever seen that actually sticks to chrome. No sanding. Just clean, then the base coat and then the clear coat.

They look good but are very close to your foot pegs. do you find that they are positioned to give you a different position for your legs when you ride?
