I bought a new 2014 Valkyrie from a Honda dealer in Danville, VA. Got it for $10,900 including honda saddlebags and windshield. 3 years of factory warranty. Bike has been a dream to ride. I started riding for the first time ever 3 months ago with a Suzuki M50. Found I really enjoy riding so I decided to upgrade to a bike that better fit my riding preferences. Wanted more power, an upright seating position with pegs out in front, comfortable touring, but most importantly great in the curves. This bike has it all. After considering a Diavel, I crossed it off the list due to it's need for high rpms and costly maintenance. I next considered a M109R but felt it's cruiser nature wouldn't allow me to enjoy curves as much as I liked. Finally, I considered the CTX 1300 but since it weighed only 50 pounds less than the Valkyrie with significantly less power I decided to go for the more powerful bike.

Pic of the Valk and a pic of the Valk with the M50 it replaced.
