I'm wondering if anyone has tried taking the muffler tips off? Some bikes have screws or rivets holding them on, but mine look like they have tack welds holding them on? I was thinking of getting 1-2 foot extensions straight out the back? Let me know if anyone has tried or taken theirs off? Thanks Denny

Surfndad that is a shame, this is the first time I have seen the tips put on this way. I guess they don't want you to change them. You are right it probably was cheaper for them to do it this way, but it looks like crap.

Surfndad Those tips are nice and the price is right too! Do the GL1800 Goldwing mufflers or the F6B mufflers from Torque Master fit our bike okay? Are the attachment points the same or do you have to rig something up?

Thanks!

Denny if you call torq masters he has made up pipes for out bike they are just not on the web site. email Jimmy Sones @ [email protected] Tell him what you want and he should be able to put it together.
The price may or may not be the same he's been having issues getting things chromed.
