I had little rectangle mirrors on at one stage. It looked great but lets be honest, they did not work very well. I then went back to the OEM mirrors and found them to be massively better and that is how it stayed. 4 months off the bike and the I find the mirrors are terrible. Is it the new jacket? Was it like this before? Don't know but I didn't like it so ebay time.

I wanted something cheap to test and I found these...

Yeah well the difference can be described as these work and the others did not for me. Granted body size etc is all going to play a factor but these made a stark and shocking difference to what I can see at a glance. Amazing what you don't notice when you can't see it.

I was going to just use them for a test but now they are staying. I even like the look of the longer stem and the black but they are only plastic... only 20aud as well so disposable really.

They are exactly the same shape but the stem is two inches longer than stock from memory. Who would have thought two inches would have made that much difference?

What?

I installed a set of Harley Davidson mirrors (of course I made sure they didn't have any "logos" on them lol) over this winter. They are the single best mod that I've done to my bike. Way better vision! No more big blind spots! They are more "convex" than the factory mirrors. I had a Ford Escape (relatively short length suv) driving along side of me last week and I could see the rear corner of the suv in the mirror and front bumper was directly in line with my body! Only about one foot out of my peripheral vision with my full face helmet on. I know if I didn't wear a helmet, I would have zero blind spots. Without moving my head I can see everything behind me also (the rear vision in the mirrors "meet" at about 10 feet behind the bike. Best $165 I've ever spent. Also can adjust "on the fly" my hand unlike the oem ones. Zero vibration and crystal clear oem quality glass.

The two items that you need
Qty (1) Harley part #56000135

I have no problem having HD logo on a product if I think it's a good product. An HD rider went past me today and ignored me. Fifty metres further on he passes another HD rider and gives him an enthusiastic nod. Pathetic. The way to beat 'em is not be like 'em.

I only specified the point of having no logo on them because I know some ppl don't like to mix name brands, so I didn't want someone to shy away from a quality set of mirrors just because they don't know if they are branded with a HD logo or not.
