I was told that the idle was to be at three bars on the tach after warm up.
However I have noticed that from time to time when stopping at a stop sign that I am idling to 4 bars. (throttle has some play and is turned all the way down.)
Anybody else? Ideas on what might be causing this?

4 bars yes or no

Tachometer showing 4 bars at idle may or may not be OK. 700+/-70 RPM. I connected my lap-top to the service port of my F6C to check the 4th bar's RPM range.
With the engine warmed up [ 206 F ] this one idles at 710 RPM and 3 bars showing. [ picture ] Slowly increasing throttle the 4th bar will come on at 760 rpm and the 5th bar comes on at 1150 rpm. Slowly decreasing throttle the 4th bar may stay on till 740 rpm. 750 rpm seems to be the average low and 1150 the high end of the 4th bar. If the 4 bar only comes on occasionally at idle that's most likely OK. If the 4 bar is on constantly at idle it may be best to have the idle speed checked and possibly adjusted. The idle air control valves can be adjusted but it would be best to have your Honda dealer do it.

Thanks, that's very helpful!
I did think the fluctuation between 3&4 bars was curious...
Wondering if anyone else experienced the same fluctuation?
