My Garmin GPS mounted nicely between the handlebar risers on my VTX1800 because the speedo is on the tank. I can't find a good place to mount it on the Valk. What has everyone else done? Are there special mounting brackets available?

Maybe you can find a RAM mount here that works. I find the bars on this bike not very accommodating for mounts, ilke my VTX is.

This is where I had my Garmin mounted, can't say I like it there much too much glare it would work better if it was mounted where the speedo was but I think they had to mount it there for the hard-wire to the bike

My iPhone doubles as my GPS. I use a dedicated Ram Mount for the iPhone connected to a RAM ball on a threaded stud replacing one of the windshield mounting bolts. I’m very pleased with the way it works.

Thanks! We do a lot of riding in the mountains and outlying areas where cellphone coverage is limited. Therefore, a GPS is a must.

Most phones have a gps built in nowadays, and you can download your route from Google Maps or Waze ahead of time so it doesn't need cell coverage during the ride!
