Saw in another forum a picture of different text on the speedo readout at start up. Said it could be customized. How do I change it?

Might be in the manual under the seat. I hadn't realized you could.

 

[Flat Six]

You can't change the "goldwing" or "valkyrie" but there is a 3rd screen where you can enter what you want.... hold the change settings button to cycle through till you get to the blank screen then there will be a flashing cursor when done just press the change settings button its easy, mine says "Hi Tony" (because it says "goodbye" when I shut it off)

Figured it out. Not enough space for the full nickname, but most people call me Swag anyway.
