Never acceptable but just curious how old is the CTX? Kinda new to this Honda stuff
Honda chrome is sad
I started my fall cleanup and I noticed rust popping through the muffler on my CTX. I hope the chrome is better on the Val.

my new out of the crate 2014 is 2 months old now and has a place on the left muffler where the chrome is gone already
Might be a Valk issue or more likely an environment issue. I’m on the water and had my VTX for 7 years, selling her about a year ago. No issues with rust or corrosion whatsoever but I always kept her in a garage and waxed. I treat the VALK the same so I’m hoping for the same results.
