I bought the GiPro DS GPDS-HO2. I am trying to fix it, but I am unable to find the port I need to connect it to.


Could someone help me with where I can locate the Diagnostic Connector Port to which this connects to? does anyone have a picture of it?

Not something I have looked for but I would expect under the seat????


Anyway good luck and I watch this with much interest as I don't have one of those... but may want one just because :)

Just bought: "IDEA Waterproof Motorcycle Gear Indicator Blue LED Display for Honda Plug & play (Recent year model, Blue)" from Amazon" It was less than a third of the cost of the Healtech. Seems to work OK & display is bright. Plug in & program ..... Stuck it on the clutch reservoir....looks pretty good.

My last bike had a gear indicator. I must say I actually prefer NOT having it. I spend less time looking down at the instrument display plus I think you develop a closer relationship with the bike when you have to ride by feel/sound rather than sight. It can get exciting occasionally however when you change down to "third" only to realise you were already in third(!)

Which is exactly the reason I bought a gear indicator (mine is in blue and attached to the flat surface directly below the instrument binnacle below the blue high beam, i.e. to the right of center of the steering head). You may think it's fun to be surprised like that, but I really don't. Especially if there might be anything on the road to reduce traction in any way, in which I normally wouldn't downshift anyway. I know what you meant, Geepers, and I also enjoy "being one with the bike", mentally noting what gear I'm in and going in to, adjusting revs to match, etc. But, fool me once, shame on the bike. Fool me twice, and shame on me.
