Hi folks,
My name is Beer van Huet (yes, like the one you drink
) and live in the Netherlands. Used to fly F-16 fighters and switched to KC-10 tankers when I got old & bold. Retired now and Chapter leader of a (classic) Valkyrie Chapter.
I am very interested in the new GW F6C of course. Looked for a ride report online, to no avail yet. That's why I registered as well.
I have made several testrides on the F6B Bagger. Very nice performance and handling but did not fall in love with the looks of this bike.
I wonder if the F6C will outperform the competition muscle bikes, like the original Valkyrie did when it came out.
Since most of the highways in Germany (close by) have no speed limits, I am in favour of a windscreen. Pity Honda did not incorporate DCT automatic transmission on the F6C.
Rumour goes, that Honda is getting rid of the surplus 1800 engines in stripped GW models before they come out with a complete new beefed up engine and state of the art model.
Anyway, glad to be on board and able to follow your posts.
