Intend to fit some heated grips in the next few days when they arrive.
Bikes i have had before have had screws to remove the bar ends and then the grips.
There are no screws on the end of my F6c to remove the grips they are all one unit with chrome ends. Not wishing to damage anything other than using brute force what is the technique for the grip removal.
Thanks Paul

Just for information should anyone else wish to remove the grips it was easier than i thought.
The chrome end caps do unscrew.
I then cut the grips with a sharp knife along the length and they peeled off easy.
Just a question of then fitting the new oxford grips which was straightforward.
Everything's works so all ok.

Yes there was glue on the original grips.

Because i did not know how easy they may or may not come off i went for the cut option.

However with what i know now if i needed to save the grips i would try to remove without cutting.

May be a struggle but not impossible.

The best way I know to remove grips is take the caps off when blow compress air between the grips and handlebars. They should come off, no cutting.

Just cut them off. It's not like you will ever use them again. :)

My OEM grips were in the trash within the first three months. Avon grips are awesome, but they discontinued the heated grip line for some reason.
