Having a hard time turning from a stop..

1525 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Geepers
Maybe it’s because of the low swept back bars but I can’t seem to get my turns down especially when turning right. I’ve never had this problem with any of my other bikes...
I don’t use first gear but I can’t figure out if I want to lean and pick up speed or just try to steer slowly???
Any comments or suggestions?
Thanks Sammy

your right to stay out of 1st gear too, much power. at low speeds. bike is jumpy in that gear with small throttle openings . try to concentrate on where your GOING , not front end of bike ,keep enough momentum going , too slow will make you fall too steeply in turn. got to relax . maybe some practice in a large empty lot is in order. remember relax!
