Just joined tonight as I have been reading all of your comments about the current Valkyrie. I bought my first Wing in 1975, the first year, then a 1200 and later another 1200, then the last was a 2004 Gold Wing which had the recall to have the frame re-welded. Sold it several years later and have been through other brands but I'm probably about to pull the trigger on either a 2014 NEW blue or 2015 NEW red one. My local dealer has the '14's at $10,999. Makes it pretty much a no-brainer for this much bike. Been reading all of your posts about windshields, saddlebags, centerstands, etc., but those can be dealt with at a later date. I'll probably be posting later when the new Valk is in the barn. Stay safe.

I have the OEM tall wind screen and the saddlebags. Great quality and the fitment are perfect. I also have a wheel chock so no need for the centerstand which adds weight and bulk to the bike. Only other item I have added and highly suggest are the LED fog lights. The added visability as well as illumination are a win win.

You'll love it, way more powerful and better handling than the old valks or wings. The lack of aftermerket support really only hurts when you have specific needs, like putting a trailer on it. If you only need the basic stuff, you'll be fine.

Thanks for the welcome. I just need some time from working 6 days a week to get to the dealer and buy the Valk......before they're all sold.

Same here, I got done with the 12 hr shifts and grabbed a new '14 Blue one this week. They sold that and their '15 red one this week.
