New GL1800CE The title says (2014 F6C) Past owner of all 3 current Goldwing's. Year 2011 through 2014
Advocate of fairly long distance touring with look thru windshield for less rain-in-the-face and gloves with no helmet shaking. Looking for windshield to achieve this end. Last Accessory addition was Gustafsson 15" with hardware installed. Conclusion: no windshield should only have 2 mounting points. Now considering French Secdem part#:BH182PB Euro Screen Maxi Windshield if I can obtain Specs> LxWx thick and Performance NEED HELP ON THIS.

Does the windshield move around at speed due to the mount? Have not had mine on yet.
Brought home a new 2014 Leftover Valkyrie and ordered the Tall Windshield and Bags.

Jambriwal, go to the thread mentioned. You could ask your question there.:)

The OEM windshield doesn't "move around" so to speak but it does cause an unpleasant amount of vibration feedback into your hands. Since it mounts to the actual handlebars only, once you're up to highway speeds you get a lot of vibration in the bars. It's very very annoying to me. Other than that, the OEM tall windshield works great. I've taken several long trips, ridden in the rain, etc. with it with no complaints about it's functionality.

I could be spoiled though, as I've never owned a bike where the windshield mounted to the handlebars. Fork mounted windshields/fairings cause almost no feedback compared to the Valkyrie one.....
