I have 13,500 mi or so on my 14 f6c. I have forks off bike and apart now. I am Putting stronger springs (1.20 kg mm for my weight)and new oil.The oil is very dirty and Only right leg has a damper cartridge.Planing on thicker oil too. Can someone with a Factory service manual verify oil level height and triple clamp pinch bolt torque for me?

Tighten botton tree 21 ft lbs
Fork cap 16 ft lbs
Top tree 16 ft lbs

The front end feel of bike is WAY better now with new springs,15 wt oil at higher level of 125mm SO much better that the next week I bought a new penskee rear shock with new spring! Traxxion dynamics is place I got the parts from,Front end is low cost end $135 with fork oil , Bike has dramatically better performance on smooth back country roads-No more grinding foot pegs either, better ground clearance

Removed the new Traxxion/Penske rear shock after 2 weeks was leaking oil! Sent it back for full refund.Put the oe [email protected] back on. I may go with a stiffer spring only in the future
