First ride on the year

It was 45 and sunny we had a lot of rain and some flooding this past weekend. But it was time to get out the Valkyrie, I put a little over 50 miles on today and boy it felt good. I just took it slow for now still some wet spots and sand on the roads. One road was close because it have a few inches of flooded water on it. I have some Oxford heated wrap around grips which were too hot (only has on and off)
I'll be out on Thursday for another ride weather looks great for the next two weeks.

I really like that red color.
It's actually the same red as yours - check out his front fender to see what I mean. Amazing paint. Cherry red in bright light and dark burgundy in low light.

It is a different red mine is a candy apple and Dillpickle's is maroon.
Mine is a 2014 and his is the 2015 which is the only year red was produced.
Beautiful bike please take care of it , you see we wear out our bikes here in the south from riding them year round then buy pristine bikes from up north :]
seriously = these are my bikes and all came from the north.

We do have a lot of low mileage bikes up here.
It nothing to see 10 year old cycle's with 2000 miles on them on Craigslist.
You have a nice collection bikes
Another ride in still lots of snow in places and closed roads because of flooding.

Those red Valkyries are very pretty.

What I really wanted is the 2015 Candy Red model. Second choice was the 2014 Dark Red Metallic. After that, it was a toss up between the blue and black 2014s.

I waited too long though, unfortunately. By the time I was ready to buy, there were only 3 Valkyries remaining here in New Hampshire...all black ones.
No matter.
I do like my black 2014. It is very sharp. Heck...Valkyries are ALL sharp, right guys?
I cannot wait to pick mine up this Saturday.
And...it is forecasted to be a cloudy day, temperature up around 70 - the warmest day of the year so far.
I think I'll blast out to Hampton Beach and put some miles on her.
Yeah baby.... Oh YEAH!!!
