Hello Rod, just purchased a new 2015 Valkyrie two months ago. Got mine from this dealer. It was a long drive but the price was the best. The attached photo is from his website taken just a few minutes ago.

Good luck, safe riding.

Another local rider got a brand new one last year from a dealer in Northern PA for 8k, plus tax/title/plates.

WOW ! I would be all over that ! Got an offer from a dealer three hours away for $9,996.00 plus tax ,title, tags. He has one in blue & black. Just wonder if they will drop any lower . Still a whole lot of motorcycle for the money ! ....Rod

Not that many new ones left, and some dealers are adding $1500 for dealer prep/setup, so out the door cash price is best way to compare them.

Got a KLR also, neat little bikes ........& yes you are right about comparison ....
I paid $11,200 for mine plus tax, title, reg. The TTT is different from state to state. So are the document fees.

I bought my 14 blue last October. I saw them advertised for $9999 plus freight and setup. They wanted $800 for that. I would have had to drive to MD from CT. I told the local guy about it and he did it for $11,200. I figured $400 more and I don't have to drive and register myself was worth it.

Basically it is discounted by 45%. That is a steal in my book.

If you don't mind me asking, Enroute1, what did the dealer have that bike listed for?
I paid 11,200 out the door for my 2014 blue Valkyrie with 0 miles on it which was purchased late September 2017. That included MD tax, tags and registration. . Dealer wanted to tack on freight/delivery fee. I said i would take it for 11 even, they came back at 11,200 so i said deal. All through email, in and out of the dealer in less than an hour.

At the time I thought it was a good deal. After 8 months of ownership I have to say it was a GREAT DEAL. I love this bike!! For the current price you can get them for it can not be beat. Only drawback is lack of aftermarket compared to other bikes.
