I wash my bike when it is obvious that it doesn't look new any longer. There is dust, pollen, and lots of bugs I've killed.
I may wash once a week or so and the rest of the time I'm squirting detail spray and wiping it down. Wax and dry spray, lemon pledge, and so on but don't spend too much time on it. It usually looks pretty good and if I stop and hang around somewhere long enough, I'll get asked about the valk and folks start talking but I need to ride
I've caught myself wiping it off after a ride. Never done this before... on any I've owned before. I just can't seem to park it looking nasty. :|
Look! I ain't going to church or work with dried mud on my shoes and not about to let this beauty look less than stellar with me mounted on it. I figure with just a quick wiping, I can have it looking ready the next time. Warmer weather means as soon as I'm down the road a bit, windshield is already nasty.
