As some of you may recall, I sold my Valk earlier this year. Wasn't riding, had no desire to ride, the anticipation of the arrival of spring and the coming riding season had been tapering off every year for most of the 2010's. Made no sense to keep paying the note on it, so I sold it. And I had no regrets.

I still have no regrets, but I did cave in just a little bit, because I may be old, but I still like to have a little fun.

Monkey.

Perfectly named, too, because it's just a barrel of fun to ride. Professional quality silly right there.

Well I never...!!!

Actually I wanted one of those originals really bad way back when, but even if we could have afforded one, where I grew up there was no good place to ride it. So I’m finally living that one out.

Next thing, I’ll be buying up all those old Matchbox cars and Hot Wheels ....
