My clutch lever feels soft with the return stroke being in weak. When it engages it has a clatter/chatter sound. This is my first hydraulic clutch so I am not sure if this is normal or how others feel about the Valk clutch in general.

I have had this type of hydraulic clutch actuation on my VTX1800 and now the Valk that is about 10 years now. I replaced the fluid on the VTX once with a vacuum pump from harbor freight. Worked great. The chatter and weak return I do not have and have never experienced. I remember after getting the Valk I heard a whine from the front and other folks didn’t. I went to Honda on a Saturday and a guy with an F6B was happy to run his bike for me. I heard it on his as well. Turned out it’s normal for the motor. Have someone confirm if it’s correct. You didn’t say what year it is. Is it still under warranty?

Thanks for the response. I think it may be normal and I’ll try to listen to another bike. I just bought my bike used 2015 with 5k km and it’s still under warranty. This is my first cruiser and first hydraulic clutch.
