Correction: the limited numbers applies only to the TFC (Triumph Factory Custom) model which is not the one pictured above. There are two "standard" models coming - one a roadster style (shown above) the other more set up for cruising.

I liked the "cool factor" but early models with the silver painted engine reminded me of a tractor. They are absolute "Tire Eaters" & will destroy the rear in short order. Just looking at it it seems like it would be top heavy. Also seem to recall transmission problems & substandard timing components...... Love to look ,but wouldn't own one......

Yep. I drool over a lot of stuff but always end up buying Japanese. As a Suzuki dealer once said to me: "If you want to go somewhere, buy whatever you want. If you want to get home again, buy Japanese."
agree 100% . had all kinds of bikes but mostly Japanese and none of them ever went to a shop. = just got home from the beach on my 50 Year old Honda CB450 super sport and felt like a kid all over again

I like that they went more "Muscle Bike" than "Muscle Cruiser". I can see myself throwing that pig into twisties.... I love massive bikes. Kinda why I love the Valkyrie.

Yep. After 12 months on a Valkyrie I now think of it as a Roadster. It's how I ride it anyway. Some would laugh at that tag given it's 343kg and 1800cc but it handles well enough to be put in that category IMO. "Muscle Cruiser" definitely doesn't fit to my mind. Looking forward to hopefully test riding the new Rocket and comparing its handling with the Valk's. Triumph are pushing this aspect of it given the old model's "barge" reputation. All I know is it will have to be pretty damm good to compete with the Big V on that score.

Guys, have you read the specs on this new Rocket 3?
641lbs dry weight. Nice....
2.5liter with 165hp and 163 lbs ft torque . Very nice
4.8 liter fuel tank...😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

This here is the fail. This is why the V-Max is a hard sell. This will be the hard sell on the new Rocket. What's even more funny is they made a "grand touring" version...Running out of gas on a huge bike is not fun. I would be shocked if this bike gets 35mpg and even if that was the case you're looking at best 140 miles till reserve hits TOPS...Realistically it'll be around 110ish...
