I purchased this trunk for $72 off ebay and the application chart says it will not fit our bike however it did.
i did fabricate some metal inserts that really locked down the plastic mounting plate .

just passing this along as i only need it once a year to go to barber motorsports park vintage festival

looks good! I've been looking at trunks for a while.

I'm considering the Viking leather hard trunk, it matches the Honda bags well, has a lock and backrest. I'll have to change my Honda backrest out and change my luggage rack mounts. I'd then figure out a good way to mount the trunk to the luggage rack.

Any feedback is appreciated.

It looks like you have the Honda back rest (like me) and I'd like to see how it fits with the front of the trunk.

yes i have the back rest and could have lowered it but instead took out some of the hard foam inside just where the back rest would make contact. this holds it open . notice the very small hole = so cut the tip off the screw that goes there and i even used a washer to prevent the screw from poking there again. all in all and please for what i got at $72 delivered , no tax .
