Catalytic converter/original stock mufflers

I have a question has anyone experienced removing the catalytic converter‘s, replacing them with torque loops and continuing to use the stock mufflers? If so please explain or illustrate, I would like to know how the sound is, as well as performance. Thank you. :nerd:

I imagine that it wouldn't be much different then what I did. I put on Rush pipes, but I think the OEM pipes would just be a little quieter. As for performance, I didn't see any better performance with my Rush pipes. The computer compensates for the differences. The only thing you would gain is a bit better sounding exhaust and reduced weight.
I changed my cats out because I was getting droning from the Rush pipes.
