If you look, the mileage "138.3" is for Trip A and may not be the actual mileage. The oil light may be the only light on because it has cycled once the key was turned. This bike does not have ABS because that light doesn't go out until the bike is moving a few mph.
Loved the look of the 1800 Valk in 2014/15 but wasn't gonna spend 18k on one. But then Honda did the rerelease (or whatever you call it) of the 2014 and I couldn't resist. I bought one and I think the price was $9599 or close to that number. Now we get to the no fool like an old fool part of the story: 2 years ago when I was 69 I had the perfect storm of a freak accident, did a trip and fall on some steps and by the time reached the bottom of the stairs, I had ruptured the quadricep tendons on BOTH of my knees. This is an injury where your knee caps are ripped off the tendons that hold them in place over the knee caps and end up laying over the top of you lower leg. Repair is imprecise and one leg works much better than the other, but they are not what they were and never will be. Lots of therapy and all that stuff and I figured no problem with the Valk. Thats not the case, my left leg is clunky enough that I know at some point in time it is going to create a problem for me and those 750 pounds and the bike will go down on that leg left leg and then it will be really useless. My bad. AND why the miles are so low and why I'm selling. I have to go lighter to ride again. Sorry about the trip odometer reading, the total miles on the odometer is actually 138. The odometer doesn't break mileage down to tenths. There is a picture of the odometer AND "Trip A" now on Ebay. The reserve is $8200. Sorry for the long post. Hope that answers any questions.
If I may piggyback on the OP's post, I also have a 2014 Black non-ABS Valk that will be heading for a new home. Cardiac problem. The machine is owned, no bank note, the only thing other than ride that has been done is a Cortech bag strapped to the passenger seat. No scratches, dents or modifications. 993 miles, great machine, rider falling apart, looking in the neighborhood of 8k for sale price. I am in Minnesota the motorcycle was purchased in California.
