It was very wet Saturday but who cares... ride day :)

I will drive in the rain if I am caught in it during a ride, but if it is raining and I have to go somewhere then I just take the car. I am not a fan of riding in the rain.

All part of the ride for me mate :)
Now if you scraped your pegs on that ride I'm handing in my licence :)

I did a country run recently and caught in such heavy rain I pulled off the side of the road and stood under a tree in a paddock. When it became light enough to ride safely I pushed on. Got home in the dark unable to feel anything but strangely happy :)

Hehe Geepers. We actually did a couple of circles at the servo on the way home for some sparks to make us happy but in weather like that I tend not to push the luck too much.

The strangely happy I absolutely understand and I thoroughly enjoy riding in the rain. As long as I am not cold I am happy and the gear I am riding with I am dry as well and some of the views we get in the mountains with the rain and mist is never seen in the dry.

Oh and I can splash in puddles like I am a kid again... and love it.

Not a big fan of riding in the rain; however I have been caught in serious downpour a couple of times on my Valkyrie and felt very safe and stable. I got a lot of stares from the cagers I passed, but rolled right on with a big wet smile on my face. No rain gear at the time made it that much more adventurous.
