Any members with a SOLO Seat?

3856 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  SAMMY-D
I don't believe my wife will be riding with me so I am thinking of removing the back pinnnon seat and rails. Have already ordered the fill in fender lid supplies from eBay for my RED 2015 Valc. are any other members riding with a solo seat [email protected] if so, could you post a few images if you have any so I can get a perspective of what it will look like. I could only find 1 pic pic on the web.

Also have any members actually found a solo seat from another manufacturer? maybe a mustang seat or anything that might possibley fit? please post those pics also if convent for you.

Thanks...SAMMY-D

I have the corbin gunfighter seat, you can see here. If you need another angle let me know, I'll get to it tomorrow. I keep the grab rails on because they're handy for tying stuff to when going on a trip, and because they make picking your bike up easy if you happen to drop it. :p

I hope I attached these correctly. The mod didn't take long at all and I'm glad I did it. Those grab rails are heavy as ****!!!!! Next mod...the exhaust system.

Hi

Is the corbin seat a lot more comfortable? I find the standard seat is not very good.

It's a bit more comfortable than stock, but maybe not as much as the price suggests. On the stock seat, I'm generally hurting after about 1.5-2 hrs. The corbin feels ok for about 3.5-4 hrs. I like my corbin, but I don't love it. There just aren't many options for this bike. Knowing what I know now, I'd just buy an extra stock seat and have it redone by a company like meancitycycles or whatever.

Hi Sammy, how did the fender fillers fit in? and how do you get them out, do they just pull out once you take off the grab rails?
I got the grab rails off but I have no idea how to get the existing fender lid pieces off the bike??? Can someone give me a hint? Do they remove from under the fender and then the lid covers also install from underneath??
Thanks....
